john b 38
Prompted by Axholme Ferreters post on the other thread I've just been rereading the 2007 variation. The clause 'must be set in a natural or artificial tunnel which is suitable for minimising the chances of injuring or killing non-target species whilst not compromising the capture and killing of target species' is now attached to every trap on there, including the Kania 2500. That can't be right can it ? Unless the housing counts as a tunnel. I've not had a Kania until recently not paid much attention on previous versions. http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2007/uksi_20072708_en_1 Quote Link to post
Rolfe 2
The Kania 2500 differs from the 2000 in as much as it doesn't have the box on the back....Therefore it needs setting in a cubby or tunnel to comply with the law as stated. http://www.kania.net/2500.htm Rolfe. Quote Link to post
